Welcome to the Official Site of Illinois Teenage Republicans
Illinois Teenage Republicans (TARS) is a national, entirely youth-led civic organization. The goal of TARS is to promote political participation among young people.
TARS groups across the nation sway elections, gain first-hand knowledge of the political process, develop leadership skills, and give back to their communities.
Illinois TARS has chapters throughout the state of Illinois. Clubs are high school-based, county-based, and congressional district-based.

Samantha Lee, 2008-2009 Illinois Teenage Republicans Chairman
 Samantha is a senior at Vernon Hills High School in Vernon Hills, Illinois. She has served as a US House of Representative page in Washington, DC with a congressional nomination from Congressman Mark Kirk as well as served as a State House of Representatives page in Springfield, IL. She has always been active with her local Illinois Teenage Republicans chapter. She served as the chairman of the Lake County Teenage Republicans her junior year. Samantha has interned at Kirk for Congress since sophomore year. Last summer, she also interned at Keith Gray for 30th District State Senate's campaign office and at the Lake County Republican Federation. She attends Middle Eastern Relations conferences every summer and volunteers as an election judge. She loves every aspect of politics and hopes to run for office in the future.
